@myraceishumanity, Eusbius was an Arian who denied the deity of Jesus. The Council of Nicea was held to combat the heresy of Arianism and clarify the doctrine of the Trinity, and, though he signed the Confession of Nicea (which affirmed the orthodox doctrine of the Trinity), he later returned to this heresy. He was responsible for this tripe being taught as the Bishop of Nicomedia until after his death in 341.

@stronzo5785 Yes we directly talk to God, Allah, Yaweh, aka God the Father when we prostrate. We love Him, and fully submit ourselves to Him. Two prominent member of the Council including the bishop who baptized Constantine, Eusbius of Nicomedia felt that Jesus and God were separate. Do your research my friend and the evidence is everywhere. Columbia University is just one source, any proper history book will tell u these facts. I urge u to do ur research. God guides the sincere seeking truth.

Provide some documentation of your point...about the Council of Nicea establishing the divinity of Jesus. From what I know, Yeshua was acknowledged as God the Son there, and that council was held to straighten out the Sabellian heresy.

Also, can you reference a source which states that the Nicea council was held to sort out Greek mythology...thx in advance, Muslim friend.

@stronzo5785 yes to Muslims prayer is also direct communication with God.. and there were people back then until the council of Nicea who questioned the role of Jesus.. some members of the Council of Nicea felt that Christians were mixing too much of greek mythology into christianity..hence they made God have a son.. God is in no need of a son.. He has messengers to remind humanity as to our origin and return.. the way you say it seems you're a polytheist

@myraceishumanity, to whom did Jesus pray? Jesus, God the Son, chose to fully inhabit His creation. Prayer, to Christians, is communication with God, and since God is spirit, Jesus had to pray to talk to God the Father, to talk to Him.

Jesus was accepted as Divine long before the Council of Nicea. God is 3 persons, 3 centers of consciousness. Only Mohammed misunderstood this...and spread his ignorance to his faith, Islam.

The Bible does talk about Jesus praying... how can the same person be God and also God's son? We love Jesus and the decision to make him devine was made by the Council of Nicea because before that many people viewed Jesus and God as two separate entities.. do your research.. Jesus cared about people, regardless of their position in life. Jesus saved the ones who were rejected by society. The NT teaches this.

Muslims love those who agree with them. Jesus disagrees with Islam, because He taught His own Deity in John 8:58. Jesus turned His face toward those rejected by society.

I align myself with the thief loved by Jesus...from now until Judgement Day, saved by the grace of Jesus...God the Son.

@stronzo5785 Allah simply means God in arabic. Many arab jews and christians use the word Allah to refer to God. Muslims believe in the same God of Adam, Noah, Moses, and the one who Jesus turned his face towards. We love all messengers of God and surely on the day of Judgement we will all know the truth.
