http://VoxRox.co - where you discover what's really going on!... Omer Goldman, has had to confront the values of her own family. She is the daughter of the former deputy head of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence service and who is still considered one of the most powerful men in the Israeli security system.

Omer, without her father's permission visited a Palestinian town in the West Bank and at a check-point, alongside Palestinians, her supposed enemies, was fired upon by Israeli soldiers, "We were sitting by the roadside talking and soldiers came along and after a few seconds they received an order and fired gas grenades and rubber bullets at us. Then it struck me, to my astonishment, that the soldiers were following an order without thinking. For the first time in my life, an Israeli soldier raised his weapon and fired at me."

Although, not surprisingly, her father does not support her decision to refuse, he still supports her as a daughter. "He and I have very similar characters. I, too, fight to the end for what I believe in. But we are opposites ideologically."

In her declaration of refusal she stated:

"I refuse to enlist in the Israeli military. I shall not be part of an army that needlessly implements a violent policy and violates the most basic human rights on a daily basis.

Like most of my peers, I too have not dared to question the ethics of the Israeli military. But when I visited the Occupied Territories I realized I see a completely different reality, a violent, oppressive, extreme reality that must be ended.

I believe in service to the society I am part of, and that is precisely why I refuse to take part in the war crimes committed by my country. Violence will not bring any kind of solution, and I shall not commit violence, come what may. "

  • I have a lot of respect for this girl. I respect the rest of the Shministim Jews, as well. I really respect Omer a lot, though, because her father was a deputy head of Mossad and she is still Shministim. After viewing way too many videos of the abuses Israeli soldiers and police inflict upon the Palestinians, how can I not respect this beautiful and beautiful young lady?

  • @brianwesley28 : I couldn't agree with you more Brian .

  • Israel really must have fucked up propaganda and culture, so people actually are forced to serve on the military, and who refuses will be excluded like a freak, Omer Goldman, you're a sensible and corajous girl, you're in the path of truth, i love you...

  • @BenYair1 ur not Jewish. a Jew would admit he/ she is forbidden from their own state! Islam rules

  • I hope that you and your father will someday, if it hasn't already happened, be able to reestablish your relationship, even if there is still a difference in views, morals, opinions, etc. Sometimes conflict between people occurs, despite best efforts to avoid it. It doesn't mean that we should abandon principles and moral values, as well as try not to resolve conflict. Sometimes it happens. I hope that you other Shministim will someday be accepted by others, including family, for who you are.

  • Regardless as to what some others are saying about you, Omer, I still think that you're a good chic and you are very strong in character for following your conscience and doing what you do and also for what you refuse to do.

  • @BenYair1 If those things had been revealed to people in present day Finland, Canada, or Guam, about the some people far away called the Jews and were documented by those people, then I'd give it more credibility than Jews documenting things about Jews and saying they were from God. I do believe in God and maybe it is all accurate? Maybe not, too. There is evidence that many of those accounts like Moses being floated down the river in a basket of reeds were borrowed from Sumer? Are you Jewish?

  • @BenYair1 The so what part is that I find great irony in the fact that many Jews of non-Semitic origin like to call others antisemitic and that many Jews are often antisemitic to other Semitic people, even when they are Semitic Jews, themselves, but they don't like to see it that way. Did God write those things with his own hand? I'm curious because I thought that man wrote those things and said they were inspired by God when they wrote them?

  • @brianwesley28

first - they r semitic and us as well, so what? England and germany belongs both to the Germanic group of nations and they foght each other. there u see ur claim has nothing to do with antisemitism.

second - u know, its adviced to learn all the history, not part of it. this area belongs to the Jewish people as it written in the bible - the same bible that Jewish christian AND muslims believe in.

call us however u want, I care about what God says and not the gentiles.

  • @kasim8t3

kiss my Jewish ass. u Arab cant deal with our power u pitiful camelsfuckers

  • @kasim8t3

yea, yea, we r the trrorists... thats why the whole world sending military reinforcements to fight against u in Afganistan and in many other places around the world.

  • @BenYair1 Palestinians. You know? The Semitic people who used to reside in the region that is now called Israel? Palestinians are Arabs and Arabs are the largest group of Semitic people on the planet. You're not being antisemitic, are you BenYair1? Besides, the Arabs and Mizrakhim (Middle Eastern Jews) appear to share a common genetic ancestry. Israel was formed due to terrorism but they called themselves freedom fighters and now they call Palestinians terrorists for wanting freedom.
