@niqabi21 I've been going on about this niqab issue on my radio show on and off for the last couple of weeks and posted an article about on my blog.

People just don't understand, banning the niqab will not do anything for women's rights. Those women will be forced to quit their jobs or defy their religion. The gov't is taking a bold step backwards.

that is only one example of the face covering and why it should be a right of a person in a certain situation I was talking to my neighbor and he said he noticed the cameras up in public spaces that are at the right level/height to scan/take picture of people faces I would like to know more about these things I am so sick of people in denial or full of fear random people in the world or my family telling me I am crazy I think people need to be more interested in what is going on around them

The officer should risk injury because that is his fucking job! I would never expect an officer to show up to a gun fight with knife, but at the same time this example is like a cop showing up to a fist fight with a gun. I am just a regular guy, even I have restrained someone who attempted to assault someone without injury. Why cant a police officer who is trained to do so do the same without hurting anyone? The guy was 46 with down syndrome for fuck sakes, no excuse, he should be charged!

Why should the officer risk injury to him or herself in dealing with unpredictable people. You rather have them use a baton that could cause longer lasting injuries to the suspect? Broken bone or shocked for 5 seconds? Walk in the shoes of a police officer for 1 week! People hate the police until they need them! you make me sick

I work with many and depends how the woman wears them, many are different You have to turn you head much more to check a blind spot. The woman admitted to the police because of her niqab or veil she did not see the child. Do you drive or know about checking a blind spot before proceeding?
