This is the RR bridge over the Cape Cod Canal, in Buzzards Bay, MA.

Not obsessed...just determined to get it right...well, finally was able to convert the movs to avis in their entirety so this is the last one with these clips...I promise...except maybe a full one without the song too, as that one still gets more hits than the one with the song. Then I'll delete the old one, but maybe not the [2nd try] one because it has comments.

  • Are you licensed to use this audio clip? I think not.

  • You think not....or you assume not?

  • I have lived here ten years and this is the first time I have seen the brigde go up. Love it, thanks!

  • Thank you! Glad you liked it.

  • what a contraption...

  • The ads on the video are the price he pays to use the audio, all you sanctimonious busybodies.

  • I want to walk those tracks so bad!

  • just back after a bus trip to Onset Pier and to the annual scallop festival in Bourne and heard about the raising and lowering of this bridge - just had to Google it and came upon this video - just amazing! Thanks!

  • CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When I was a kid (about 10 years old), me and two friends hid on that train bridge, rode it as it was being raised and lowered, and watched a ship passing under. It was a lot higher than we imaged, scaring the heck out of all three of us. A gang of us also had a clubhouse in an abandoned mail station right next to the tracks within sight of the bridge (trains passed within a foot of the window to, years earlier, allow mail to be passed). Of course, all of this was some 40+ years ago.

  • I used to go to that exact place and flatten pennies on the tracks after dinner when I was a kid.

  • Lived in Wareham for a year never saw it go up or down hanks

  • This is Youtube. Shut up.

  • you are so awesome
