You should avoid pulling with a rounded back if you're still learning the form. He's is obviously an experienced lifter and knows the extent of what his back can handle. Form will always break down to some degree when going very heavy.

Focus on finding your pulling position aka where you need to set your hips. Make sure your back is flat or arched and pull.

  • Going caveman nice.

  • Im trying to learn form on deads, It looks like his back is very very slightly rounded. I only ask because I am trying to figure out if its okay to be like this or if it should be more arched. He obviously is huge so I am in no way insulting him.

  • Great pulls bro...very strong. How much was that max set? ~640 lbs?

  • impressive like all of your vids!

    keep going!

  • Man almost everybody on youtube post their own low weight - bad form movies, but yours are different! Incredible weight and perfect form--> Keep up the good work!

  • Textbook form!
