Plus what Jesus said (Luke 14:26) was talking about the new law. The Commandments are still to be obeyed, but the new laws were to get into heaven. If you love someone more than God, they become an idol, so It goes with the 1st commandment.

The second verse you put in was to live a perfect life (as stated, impossible), the verse in Luke was to get to heaven.

If your trying to say these contradict each other, keep looking. Luke 14:26 is speaking of hating the sin of the world and dispairing to the point that you hate yourself and every-one else inclueding your family and friends. Only then can you follow him. That is why paul said that the 10 commandments were created to further condemn us. It was to show us how pathetic we realy are. This is even put into the satanic bible when he says the 10 commandments are imposable, thats the point!
