And the most of them are musians. This pub is a meetings point for musians and they have a lot to talk. But every thisday we try them to keep quiet and sometime's it fits.

Wauw! That sounded so nice! Wonderful slow tempo, no hinch of acceleration, real warm and really very well played by every one of them. Fine video of you too Imah! I get the feeling I was there for a while, much longer than the 3 minutes. Thanks!

Great clarinet player. Very beautifull tone

The most recent performance I did of Rhapsody in Blue was last october, with het Orkest van het Oosten and Jan Vayne at the piano. I did only do the tenor sax part then, however.
Kind regards,
Bert Brandsma

Hi Lee, I didn't post this video. So I did not read this comment earlier. I did play the clarinet opening on several occassions, but it is only recorded once and then on CD. No video. Al did play it, but not allready in 1924, the premiere. Ross Gorman did suggest the idea while rehearsing and Chester Hazlett played it at the concert.

Hi Bert: Another winner!!!! Same tune would sound great with your bass sax. How about the long clarinet slide on 'Rhapsody in Blue'...would be a great tune on your clarinet. I believe it was originally done by Al Gallodoro another favorite of mine ! Hope you are around as long as he !! leebm29@yahoo
This is nice .

Bert Brandsma is great as being the most virtuosic bass-saxophonist on earth, a good alto player, great composer (Listen to the Video responce of Nassau) and here he proves to be a great balladeer on Clarinet as well.

I think it is all truth. I like the guitar player to. It was a good combination on that jazzsession. They all have the passion for the music and play with a lot of pleasure
