Luigi Fun Facts
First appeared in: Mario Bros. 1983

Before the release of Super Mario Bros. 3, Luigi was originally depicted in official art with green overalls and a blue shirt.
After his official creation, Luigi has lived in the shadow of his brother throughout their adventures and as time went on, Luigi had developed cowardly tendencies as well as heroic ones. More cowardly tendencies, though.
Luigi was always seen with Mario throughout their games until the release of the game Mario is Missing! (1992) where Bowser kidnaps Mario. This game was the official debut of Luigi's solo adventuring. However, the next solo appearance he would make would not be until 2001 when Nintendo Gamecube released Luigi's Mansion.
