  • wow , we have a policy if we have a fire we are to eject the load it's easier for the fire dep. to extinguish and cheaper to pay for the cleanup than replacing a 450,000 truck !!! at least that what my employer says

  • ya here too but the hydrolic line broke over the exauhst. no stopping it

  • hey coughontape what are the firefighters putting on the blaze? is it water?

  • were u guys scared or something, attack the fire

  • 2- John Bean HPF guns could put that out and still have water in the tank

  • Another pile of shit Volvo bites it. YES!!!!!! I got a ten-spot that says they repaired it.

  • @joek0617 thanks :)

  • some places don't have it ready for use, but it's an agent that's mixed with the water, some department, like fridely near me, use it all the time. fridely is trial running a biodegradable foam agent

  • @R5H4D0W they compress towrds the back, so u open the back end up, and the ram pushes it out

  • @coughtontape they should have a fire suppression sys in it... like a couple tanks of CO2, with hoses to the top, right behind the ram

  • For those firefighters out there, I noticed that some vehicle fire videos foam would be used in combination with water, I assumed this was to contain a fluid accelerant such as gas or diesel, but in this case only water is used even though the video showed what appears to be an uncontrolled vapor venting near the gas take. What is the criteria for needing foam?

  • @frntloader how do you eject a load exactly? all the hydraulics seems to point towards compressing the load. I figured a large hydraulic piston would tilt the whole bed once the waste is delivered to a sorting facility. Be interesting to know, thanks.

  • what the hell is it at 0:29 ?

  • hhahahha green peace will be out now lol
