  • Yes folks by popular demand The 2011 "Music in The Garden" festival will be on Sat 20th of August another Magical day I am certain ! invites are going out as I type......see you all again this year .

  • I remember meeting Jim Couza at the Copper's Folk club in Peacehaven c 1979. I stll own the LP I purchased that evening. Fond memories, RIP Mr Couza.

  • It was one of those magical days that I am sure not only the family but all those who took part in it will remember for ever, just as Jim remembered that rainy day in 1968 at the folk festival in Fox Hollow where he heard the hammered dulcimer for the first time and “instead of showers of raindrops the air was filled with showers of notes every where “. I am sure that EVERY PERSON that came and shared their own little bit of Jim left just a little more enriched by the experience.

  • Wow another Fantastic day of music stories and laughter in the garden this year I am sure that Jim was watching over the day and if he had been there in person he would have been stunned and feel humbled that all his old friends have got together again to make his home ring with the sounds of the music that he loved, along with the tales and reminiscence’s of his exploits I know he would still have been laughing about them all for weeks to come. Looking forward to Jim Couza 2011 festival already

  • I met Jim once when he played at a folk club in Leigh, Manchester, UK - he was a lovely guy, warm, kind and with a voice that was wonderful. I'm sorry to hear that he has died.
