He's a good goalie, haters dont hate! He robbed him at the end...plain and simple. If you would have made that save you would be pumped too. Good job kid, keep it up. ALL GOALIES MAKE DESPERATIONS SAVES.....HUNDREDS OF TIMES THROUGHOUT THERE CARRER, EVEN NON NHL GOALIES.

hes a leftie

@danhabsfan9 Maybe you should take your own advice. You messaged me first in response to me pointing out that this save was not "unreal" and then challenging the poster when he claimed to have done this intentionally. I called that out, listed some correct criteria, and then for whatever reason you commented me and took the entire thing way out of context by trying to compare it to the NHL playoffs. Again, maybe you should take your own advice and stop overreacting.

@MCHellraiser88 well he seemed to have pretty good technique through out most of the video and was just messing around at the end, so if you're really taking it this seriously maybe you should just take a chill pill.

@danhabsfan9 No Stanley Cup has ever been won by a team that wasn't great defensively for that period of time. Defensive systems win Cups, not goalies. Ask Niemi, Ward, Osgoode, Brodeur, Thomas, Roy, Hasek, etc. They all played for great team defensive systems and most even had great offenses. If these goalies all played for the Islanders the last fifteen years, NO CUPS for any of them!

@TheRaunchyTofu I'm calling bull shit
I have been playing goalie for a few months and am wondering how difficult it is to get up with both legs at the same. Is there something yo did to practice? Please answer.

@KingsFlyersHabs
just practice, it took me a couple years to do it. Work on strengthening your legs, then practice getting up with one leg, then the other, then try both. It will feel weird at first but after a while it will feel comfortable.

That save at the end was a result of a previous technical mistake. Sadly, most "amazing" saves, even some on TV at the NHL level are the result of a prior mistake. Your save wasn't amazing. You had hardly anything to do with it. You took yourself out of the play, went into pure desperation mode (I'm not even sure you meant to swing your arm in front of the net) and then the forward shot it into the 2% of the net you still had covered for some reason.

@MCHellraiser88
it was the last shot of the drill , and prior to that the instructor sniped me pretty good, so i thought i'd return the favour. in no way did I accidentally do that, i meant to stack the pads and bring the arm around %100.
