Any updates for 2010? I really want to go soon, and I certainly hope all is well for them.

I was there yesterday . They both seem well and are looking forward to running this episode again . They said there have been 70 ,000 hits on this story at Sunday Morning . The only thing is that only 3 buildings are accessable by the public . :(

Some sad news to report: The last I've heard, Lloyd is still in a nursing home, and apparently lost some of his memory, as well as his interest in books.

Good News!
I just talked with Leonore yesterday and she told me they will be open this weekend through August, on Saturdays only, from 9-4 . She said Lloyd has made substantial progress.

Anybody know if the Dickmanns got through the recent flooding in Wisconsin?

Their farm is OK, folks. Lloyd's new car did get totalled from the flood waters, but all else is OK. He was buying books from my mom as usual this past weekend. (Thanks, Lloyd!)

My parents sold books to the Dickmans. What is that--four degrees of separation from Bill Geist?
