@nancyalis2 I actually agree with you on that one. LA takes itself WAY too seriously. New York has more people and things to make fun of so people take themselves less seriously there. I'm glad you like Jimmy Fallon and yes he's quite original but he reminds me so much of Dave as well. And Lorne has treated Jimmy like a son. He only put Jimmy's name out there when NBC asked him who he wanted to replace Conan. As far as Conan, he'll succed in time like TBS is predicting.

I DO like Jimmy Fallon. He's different & funny & has made his show funny. NBC likes Lorne Michaels. They did NOT like Dave, No, Dave does not tow the GE company line. I'm glad Fallon's doing great. I wish Conan would get back that edgier material on his own show. He's not as funny as he was on Late Night. I think LA has something to do with it. Nobody there has a sense of humor, even the people who are SUPPOSED to writing funny material.

@nancyalis NBC treated David like a step child otherwise GE would have let him meet the suits. Dave didn't kiss NBC's ass so they picked Jay over him. And another thing, Jimmy Fallon is a funny and talented gentleman who is doing a fantastic job as the host of Late Night. Jimmy even said he doesn't want to host The Tonight Show!!! So he has more balls than you realize Nancy. That's his wife's name by the way.
