  • Just had the same procedure performed this afternoon by John F. Cook, MD of Newport Beach, California, who was trained by Dr. Charles Eaton. After five prior open reduction surgeries for Dupuytren's Contracture, I would highly recommend the aponeurotomy procedure. It's relatively painless, quick, performed in the office, and I am not facing weeks of uncertainty due to risk of infection and scarification, followed by by months of therapy.

  • thanx for this video but tell me did you inject local anasthesia and steroid ?is the needle enough to make the separation of palmar apponeurosis from the skin?what about the fibrous band of palmar apponeurosis ?did you leave it ?what about the recurrence rate of this technique?

  • @Little1012 where is this doctor?

  • Thanks for sharing the videos. They really helped me to decide on this technique. I will be glad when I can schedule mine and regain some use of my hands.

  • thanks for your video, and i am also reading your paper:Needle Aponeurotomy Terminology and Methodology.
