  • I have been riding for about 9 years and i bought this horse, Ace. He was so poorly handled that we had to detrain him of bucking -well they were more like bunny hops. And he recently has been very aganist me (or anyone) mounting him. he fine when we ride though. when i try to mount him i have to bring the sturip up to his front shoulder or else he will kick out at me. Its just an accident waiting 2 happen, his ears are always pinned back when i mount. Is there any advice that u could give me?TY

  • Yes, go to my 'love your bum' video and repeat it on your HOrse. That will regain your respect. Regards

  • You are really good! I like it how you treat every horse differently according to its needs/personality. I found it difficult working at a horse ranch with 2 bosses who had different opinions. I always ended up wrong. One was a complete cowboy, who smacked the sense into his horses, the other was a natural loving "if the horse bites me its ok" kinda person.

  • thanks we now resoulved this little conflict and he is now a very sweet, lovignhorse (imagine that). Ty

  • wow you have helped a lot b/c my horse is a almost 21 year old arabian gelding. his previous owners messed him up! i have had him for almost a year now and he is doing better buti used a few tips that u have done on ur pod casts and i thank you for even doing the pod casts i dont think that i would have come as far as i have with out ur help.Thank You!

  • Darn,

Thank you Sir.I would have grown so much better if I had known you before. I have bought a neglected horse after taken care of it for 4 years (owner did not want to sell). I have all sorts of difficulties to deal with but I take them one by one. He is a good boy but has been beaten and all, so I will come here to get help. I just succeeded this week in putting the halter without having to undo it all (scared of having is ears pressed back). Thanks again and I will become an addict!

  • hehe! nice kareoke skills! lol..

btw, Chip is a nice horsie..

  • Did you ever find out if it was the same horse?
