There goes the tail end of the Thirteenth Legion as it leaves Rome, aiming to misbehave again...

This is an experiment in Vue using Poser figures dressed up as Romans (duh). There are about 250 soldiers marching along.

  • you actually rendered out each soldier or just one and cloned it in compositing? Great clip though

  • Kind of in between the two. I "built" two soldiers in Poser, then replicated them in Vue prior to animating. So the clip does actually have 250 moving guys, but the data is only coming from two.

  • Wow thats great so how long did that take to render?

  • I rendered it in bite-sized chunks, but total time was something like fifteen hours.
