Did you know that there is a code called violent mode where there is more violence, there are female enemies, and Robocop sparks up when he is defeated. That actually helps because it gives you more time to change weapons. I don't remember the combination to activate it but you can look it up on Game faqs.

Yes. I believe you can also unlock it by finishing the game under certain conditions - finding a certain bonus level or some such.

HE'S BACK! And what a manly man-game to kick off 2 months of waiting!! So much GENESIS BLOOD! I can see you're a fan of Contra. Spreader's always my fave! In this game, dying is underrated as it happens between ticks of a clock. And molotov cocktail? Not as delicious as it sounds. And every time you save a hostage it looks like he's about to throw a Spirit Bomb. Also, anticlimactic first T-800...

Robocop is one of my favorite movies of all time, but I was born in 1996, and didn't have time to play the game, or learn it existed. So I play this on emulator now, but wanted to look at it from another perspective... so here I am.

I love the sound in this game which seems to use the Genesis' low quality to it's advantage by making everything sound rough and dirty... plus it's really violent which is always a good thing.
