here's a little bit of film we made as a trailer for the Head First album (out on the 22nd March by the way, whoop whoop) but it turned out more as a trailer for the single.
The trailer features as the front of www.goldfrapp.com
it uses the instrumental of rocket and was filmed and created by Mat Maitland at Big Active.
Twas filmed at a photo shoot by Serge Leblon.

Rocket the single is out today (8th March) in the UK, hooray!!

  • @korohebray do you mean electronic music? open your ears a bit music, head first is a brilliant album, for several reasons it creates this direct, jubilant atmosphere, subtly and creatively. its happy which I feel is over looked alot, they don't have to make felt mountains and seventh trees again and again just to please people who don't recognise anything with a faster tempo or a synthesizer as music, they make it how they feel and do it well,. thats why their goldfrapp

  • @birdance yessss! the whole album is so influenced by JMJ and Rendezvous - what a completely fabulous modern take on classic electro! I love that they've gone right to the roots of the whole 80s electro sound, and it makes them sound much richer and more adventurous than a lot of the other 80s-influenced electro around.
