We went down to the town moor for about 6.45 am and tested out the new pan and tilt setup. The pan was fine but tilt was controlled by the throttle stick using the idle up mode on my heli TX, this does not work very well IMHO so I will move the tilt function to a toggle switch for the next flight. Also I tried a 6x3 prop to slow the plane down a little, but it just felt under powered so it is back to the APC 6x4 for the next flight also.

In the air equipment:
Multiplex EasyStar
- aileron modification
- WASP 2835 220w brushless inrunner with Master Airscrew 6x3 prop
- WASP 33A ESC
- BRC Hobbies 2200mAh 20 3s battery
- Futaba 319DPS rx
- GWS Park servos

FirstPersonView.co.uk FPV Kit
- KX131 with pan and tilt
- 2.4Ghz video tx
- powered from flight pack

On the ground

- Futaba 6EXHP tx

- Goscam GP-707 video rx
- Pinnacle Video Transfer (set to "Better" quality")
- 4Gb generic memory stick
- all powered by 1700mAh 3s (via 5.25v UBEC for the PVT)
- VR1400 video goggles
