I have these blades on a walkera #4 and after third light crash in grass today(just hovering) one broke completely off about 1/2'' past the rotor grips...i spent 3-4 times the cost over stock blades for these from heli pal and i will never buy them again... i am very pissed off especially since they broke from such a wimpy crash and i always cut throttle before impact...
i have quick question, im trying to find a some good blades for my Honey Bee FP v2 and im thinking about buying these blades, the only thing im worried about is, are these blades good for Forward Flight?
I ordered a set for my Walkera 53#Q3 this video was way I chose them. I killed a blade on my first very small crash. I think it was a fluke :) the blades hit each other and took a big chunk out of the one and nicked the other. Just bad luck. maybe
I agree with the previous posts. They are not crash resistant. I went through a couple of these blades in a matter of minutes. They should post a video of the blades during a blade strike, which happens more frequently than flying into a wall. If your a good pilot, you'll stay away from walls. Walls arent the issue after your a good pilot, its the blade strikes. These blades crumble like a cookie in a strike, so dont waste your money, these are too expensive. Stock blades=Airy II, no difference.
i bought these for my blazing star and they break on my first crash!(70 deg F, ambient temp) dont fall into this scam, they are just the same with the stock blades. xtreme blades are tougher for lama (no xtreme blades for blazing star)and cheaper. anybody knows where i can find a better blade for blazing star?
