Visit an active Fort and the people who forged a life from the wilderness at Alabama Frontier Days. See cannons roar and muskets fire. The Fort is open year round, and is occupied with colorful historic reenactors the first part of every November. visit our website at http://www.twoeagleskitchen.com/ for our event calendar or visit the homepage of the Fort http://www.fttoulousejackson.org/FrontierDays.htm

  • A least when they gathered twice a year for Rendezvous they did, everyone would gather and bring in their furs and other items for trade at the Fort, the Fur Company would host a party or two for them...

  • If only more people could realise the importance of the old ways.Exellent video.

  • Thank you, we love history and have made living in the past our way of life. It's so wholesome and family oriented.

  • The rendevous ran from 1825 till 1840,while this fort, and this event , depicts a time between 1700 and roughly 1812.Wyoming is also about 1800 miles west of , and nowhere near , Alabama, which is where this fort is.
