I met mister ferrara at a festival few weeks ago. He didn't talk much about this, just said he wasn't mad at herzog about this movie but mad that people who never give him any money steal his title to make money he'll never see. He also added he will never watch this fucking movie. We had the chance to see his last 3 movies, documentaries, the last one, mulberry street is a master piece. Let's hope they'll find the way to our screen.

@TheForgottenFlesh Yep. Instead, he just said let's "how about we sit down and have a drink". Maybe, he should have asked anyone if they based it off of another film . . . of the same name. I heard it was the producers that gave the "not remake" the name.
. . . or maybe the movie just shouldn't have been made. I dunno . . .

@NeverAloneForever What Herzog should have done was when he heard about this. Watched Ferrara's Bad Lieutenant and then commented on it. I'm sure he would have liked it and then he should have Produced Abel's next film as an appology or something.
