Officials have released recordings of the 911 calls made after veteran SeaWorld trainer Dawn Brancheau was pulled into the water by a killer whale.

@chookfeather The woman calling would be a dispatcher for the park, communicating via radio with the people on the scene. She would have had no idea what was going on beyond being told by the people on the scene what was happening and what to communicate to the police. She's not a bystander making the call.

There are sea pens where these animals could be retired. some experts even believe it could be possible to create a mixed species pod that could retire together and in some cases possibly even be released together. Either way there is no need for any cetacean to be in a tank performing tricks in chlorinated water....

whoever made those calls seriously needs to learn how to make a phone call. Firstly gave false info "she was in the pool with a whale she wasn't supposed to be in the pool with" when in fact she was grabbed while out of the pool and tossed around then dragged in and drowned. Then the whole "pulled the defib" really? Pulled it where? I thought she was trying to communicate they stopped using it. But NO they got it out to use. Learn a sense of urgency lady.
