@n2itiveone who's going to supervise the children who studies at home? Certainly not their parents as the parents have jobs...

What's wrong with his statement?

Has anyone considered implementing more home school programs via the internet? If one can obtain a college degree online, why shouldn't our highschool students and others have the same option for obtaining a diploma. Think of how much money would be saved with online classrooms. Fewer buses, less fuel, fewer vehicles on the road, fewer emmissions, etc, etc, etc.
It would take lots of effort but this seems like a "no brainer" to me.

I'd feel more comfortable if even the Chicago students could read. He has failed in Chicago, why put him in charge of the US?

don't forget vilsack is pretty much a moron. he took office in iowa with a huge surplus and he ran the whole state deeply into the red. he's a moron and the people of iowa are certainly relieved to have him out of there. vilsack baaahaaaaahahahahahahahahaaaaa

lol! the new education sec said "...my sister and I" in a prepared speech. lol! i guess the new education sec isn't as capable as the rest of those people that obama surrounds himself with, well at least not in the "grammar dept" anyway. a student going to a chicago public school has a 6% chance of going to college. yeah, what a great pick. rofl! bahhaaaahaaaa!

Freedom, did you listen to the video? You asked me to name "1 PRO," when Obama himself listed many.
I wasn't clear in my initial reply. This response will be clear:
To put it bluntly, I don't care about your opinion, which is why I never asked for it.
I repeat, Obama has a track record of surrounding himself with capable people. I trust his leadership. The decision remains.
Again, you have the right to voice your opposition. You can email the Obama team with a list of your issues.
Another good pick. It's time Americans learned to value education a lot more, not just for getting jobs but for also developing a better understanding of themselves, their society, the world, and this universe. The current small-town mentality arising from an endless diet of TV and fries needs to change.

That is unfortunately a very common mistake -- getting mixed up about "I" and "me"; so common that it is mentioned in many language books. No idea why it happens, though. Well, hopefully he will not be teaching English grammar. What really matters in his job is competence backed by attitude; wanting to do something good, and having the ability to do it.
