Join choreographer Giulia Mureddu (Italian, but based in Amsterdam) and her contemporary dance company on their tour through 4 Arab Countries: Beirut in Lebanon, Damascus in Syria, Amman in Jordan and Ramallah in Palestina in april 2009, where we did a dance doublebill performance at contemporary dance festivals in each city ('Escaping Grey' and 'Mighty MatPogo').

The company members are:

Giulia Mureddu - choreography (and dance in Beirut)
Robin Tunca - dramaturgy
Roland van Ulden - lightdesign and technique
Vincent van Roon - technique
MatPogo - music
Amaranta Velarde Gonzàles - dance
Goran Turnšek - dance
Keyna Nara - dance
Katerina Dietzóva - dance
Hilde Elbers - dance

Clip 2 contains a walk through Damascus, Syria, starting outer center and going into the oldest city in the world via the souk (market) on april 19 2009, where people sell their goods for over 3000 years already (so they know how to do it....). Listen to the sounds when the beautiful music is not there for a while.
