  • The girls at the end were pretty clueless. More politically uneducated young people casting votes. Bleh....

  • While it is true that they are not yet politically sophisticated, they are only 17. I wonder how politically savvy you were at 17 ??? They are also from a very conservative part of New Hampshire. I think that also plays a role. Besides, some could claim you to be an airhead supporting "Pretty Boy" Mitt Romney, who is the worst kind of political panderer without a firm commitment behind key social issues to help people in need. More coming.

  • All through school I had to be the ONLY Republican in a classroom of Liberals, including the teachers. I don't feel that it's fair for teachers to be educating the students based on their opinions, I'm not saying you because I never took any of your classes, but even classes where Politics wasn't even relevent, like Astronomy. I don't think it's fair for any student to feel like they're not given a voice. It's sort of hard to explain exactly what I mean. hehe =]

  • I totally agree with you on this....but I also think it is totally appropriate to expose students to a complete range of opinions on issues and let them come to their own conclusions. BTW, why are you more aligned with the Republican point of view than with the Democratic point of view ? What is/are the underlying issue(s) ?

  • i kno those girls, they have never even looked up the definition of republican

  • XxSugarxArteryxX to your latest comment i agree with the fact they are airheads but I am from Pittsfield ,I go to the school, and I am younger than these students but I could of expressed my opinion better. So this goes to show that not all students are uneducated when it comes to politics.(only the majority of pittsfield students)

  • I don't believe in anything that is like communism. I don't like war or anything, but I think that if we're attacked, we should fight back to let them know the US isn't going to bow down to a country of radical unjust people who act against us based on their unreasonable rage. I also think it's important to help the people that need it, or deserve it rather (people that are disabled, veterans..).

  • I think at one point in time I was possibly a little more liberal than neutral or conservative, but that was a few years ago. Slowly I became more republican minded. I just agree with them on most issues, almost all of Romneys ideas/views. I've always had the mentality that people earn what they deserve.

  • At 17, I knew what I was talking about as far as politics go especially. I'm not supporting Mitt Romney because he is good-looking, Believe me. That is the LAST qualification I look for in a president. I wouldn't really call Pittsfield a Conservative part of NH, and even if it was that wouldn't be an excuse for them to not know what they're talking about.
