I've never been to DC but John Stewart got me to go down finally. All footage is shot on 16mm film. Yeah you heard me.

  • Me too. Everyone seems happy to see film go but once it's dead and gone they will all start bitching and ask where it went.

  • The footage was shot on an SBM Bolex. I used both 50D Vision 2 and 500T Vision 3 stocks. The film was transferred on a spirit 2k. Why the interest in the format?

  • I look at this and I wonder why everyone has gone digital.

  • Was following the discussion at cinematographydotcom--Bolex (rex4) user myself and was just interested in the fantastic quality of your images. Different factors to take into consideration these days, hence the questions about the stock, lens, and transfer.

  • This looks really good. Would you mind providing some more detailed info? Camera? Stock? Lens? How did you transfer? Again, great footage.
