Very nice, dreamlike playing! "Chopin" is probably my favorite piece in the Carnaval. I heard "Chopin" for the first time about 8 years ago (by Jon Nakamatsu in the 10th Van Cliburn documentary), I decided that I just had to learn it someday. I hope to post it sometime next year, but my arpeggios aren't as smooth as I'd like (I play with way too much muscle tension). I'm currently working on "Chiarina" ("Clara") as well.
P.S. Thanks for the comment on the Nyman video!

Very musical playing!

great!! some of these 'amateur' recordings are better than the professional ones..much more intimate, immediate, heart-felt...the 'pros' are so sterile..

If I may offer a small piece of constructive criticism, I would put a little more emphasis on the accents (including the sforzandi). There were a few spots I noticed on the repeat where you seem to be playing decrescendos in the left-hand that are marked as crescendos in the score I'm using (the arpeggios that head toward the sf's). These small changes might help bring out a somewhat more "Agitato" mood. But again, very nicely done.
