Eine schwierige Aufgabe, nach Hotter diese Ballade zu singen...

Such saying means nothing: if it did, it would be flat wrong. Philosophy is the synthesis of human knowledge: a true metaphysical (i.e., philosophical) approach to anything whatsoever demands to understand the thing not only in its details but as whole. That's what our Prey did all along his career...

Wonderful! Carl Loewe is a great composer, he is the romantic "ballad master", and is worthy to be better known. Hermann Prey was also a "ballad master"!

It is said that Hermann Prey's approach to lieder was not metaphysical but concrete. It is through attention to detail that each song takes on its expansive resonances.
I do not know what the hell that means, it seems too abstract, but of what I am pretty sure, 100% sure, is that this man´s voice is the most beautifull voice I have ever heared.
The expressivity and depth are a blueprint of his artistry.

Großartig. Es gab keinen anderen, der diese Lieder so interpretieren konnte wie Hermann Prey.
