@KINGARTHUR3341 Um, how does he steal music? He's done a lot of covers, and most of them admittedly aren't that great. Manson works best when he's doing his own art. But, I don't see how you can claim he's stealing music. Give me an article or some shit that proves that he steals a shit load of music and I'll change my position immediately.

I'm a fan and I hardly think of myself as goth. And he hasn't "relied" on shock to build any persona for years now, dude. lol

@MrWhitetrash13 Just because it isn't filled with lightning-fast solos doesn't mean it isn't "technical." By the way, I love how you're changing terms and arguments.

But listen to Antichrist Superstar. The layering with the guitar and keyboards is fantastic. An example? The song "Cryptorchid." The atmospheres generated by the multi-layered instrumentation is complex and brilliant. Now, as much as I love Slayer, they've never used this sort of complexity in their music. Speed isn't everything.

@DarthKrattus believe me i have listened to alot of manson, in the past, there is nothing technical about his music, john 5 was perhaps the best thing to happen to manson, and he left, what does that tell you?

@MrWhitetrash13 Manson started out as a punk-oriented band, but guess what - artists change. It's not like they got any worse, and given your so-called "definition" of "shit music," I'm going to guess that you've barely listened to them, let alone read their lyrics. Manson is an artist, nothing less. Unless you can come up with a cogent argument as to why they're a bad band (I doubt you can), I'm going to stick with them.
