@tobeysdad I haven't seen anything remotely similar to this game at all this season. I went to a game on a Wednesday in November and the crowd was still over 14,000. I also went to the game a week ago when Doaner got his first hat trick. Still a pretty decent crowd for the Islanders.

This is preseason, I mean, how the fuck can't you tell? It shows the date for fucking sakes, when has there ever been an NHL regular season game in September?

This is a worse crowd then the WHL's old Great Falls Americans.... And Bettman is somehow convinced that Phoenix is a "hockey hotbed".

Seriously this is ridiculous but Winnipeg Jets back!! So awesome, I being to 2 Coyotes games, but so happy Jets back, I already went to home opener and will go to many more ahead!! Go Jets Go!

This was preseason and it was two years ago, when the worst of the bankruptcy issues still were swirling and Mr. Blackberry was still trying to get the team moved days before the preseason opener (logistics aside, obviously.) The team had not been able to advertise, to do any marketing, to sell any advertisements, nothing.
It's still a fiasco, given how slowly Glendale is moving, but it's much better now.
