Pitch-shifter or not, It shouldn't matter what you use for a vocal effect, or anything really; If it sounds fucking beast, and tears you apart limb from limb and sodomizes your family and your pets, then I think its done its justice.

Does it really make a difference if it's shifted or not? The final product is bomb as hell, regardless of what they did to get it to that point. Rompeprop shifts shamelessly, and they're quintessential in Gore. Want another example? Cock and Ball Torture. It's not as if pitch shifting is some mark of shame.
