The collapse of the Twin Towers and the Herculean task faced by New Yorkers that terrible day has come to define contemporary New York. Seven years on, have they rebuilt the American Dream in this wounded city? A powerful doc which gets under the skin of today's New York. There's the security legacy, the property legacy, and of course, the New Yorker who lost family and who just can't accept it all.
After the horrible events of 9/11, the city of New York wanted to reinforce its position against the terrorism to avoid such tragedy happening again. Behind the profusion of security, most of New Yorkers feel their individuals liberties threatened. Firemen, policemen, etc., who helped clearing are touched today by diseases and various infections due to the pollution of the site, more than sixty people succumbed and more than one thousand are affected. The New Yorkers begin to doubt their government.

Odds are that's an FDNY EMT or paramedic. Instead of black turnouts, they're given tan to identify themselves as EMS workers.

security problems that allowd this to happen are way different from the disaster you mentioned, the main problem is that every kind of security force must be aware about every kind of "strategy" a group of terrorist may choose (sorry but english is not my main language soo it could be like trying to understand a kid draw xD)

i really appreciate Journeyman pictures, but every doc i have watched of a subject or event I am familiar with has incorrect information- the 1900 hurricane killed over 6000 Americans
