The Wooden Floor and the 2012 Ford Focus: Moving Forward - Global Test Drive

The Wooden Floor, a 2011 Recipient of the Ford Focus Global Test Drive and a $10,000 gift from Ford, goes for a test drive the new 2012 Ford Focus with longtime support Jim and student of The Wooden Floor, Mariely.

The Wooden Floor in Santa Ana, previously known as Saint Joseph Ballet, is a nonprofit organization in its 28th year that gives 375 underserved local youth the tools to live fuller, healthier lives through a unique approach grounded in dance. We make a long-term investment in each of these young people. They engage in intensive dance education that when coupled with focused academic and family support programs, changes the way they make decisions, helping them to discover and pursue their potential.

Since 2005, 100 percent of our young artists graduate from high school on time and go on to pursue higher education. This is about three times the national average for their socio-economic peers.
