Had a good day today, didn't find the lid to the old cast iron pot, but I found the first Ball Mason Jar with no chips, cracks and all in one piece. Too bad there was no coins in it! Maybe next time!

    Probably my damn coins and someone beat me to them! LOL! I am not sure actually.  It was found in a grove of trees by what use to be the cow pasture. No other glass or even dump site evidence was found. Just this one lone mason jar, that rat tail file and that old three legged kettle. However, the markings on the trees tell me that these were items used by those caching this site. Maybe a clue or just left over items they did not need to use? Too much metal around this site I need 2 clean
