Sain Marna iis legendry Iktara player from central Punjab in Pakistan. He was a wandring sufi mystic mmostly seen at truck stops on highways. He was discovered and introduced by Radio Pakistan in 1950's. Sain died around mid sixties while wandering in Punjab.

this music is so expressive and beautiful, i hear the beauty and tragedy of life in this! this also reminds me of a guitar band from texas called explosions in the sky, very similar. wow!

SAEEN MIRNA,was a sufi fakir,\he use to dress in yellow rob(long-dresss/one piece shirt) and mostly with wooden chappals(kharwaien).

he was attached to mradio hyderabad mostly and i hv seen him in 1958 or so at radio hyderabad(old )near pakka qilla. singing along with the EK TARA.he in trance use to sing along .after disappointed in love . he adopted this life and went from one DARGAH to another .his dead body was luing in some shrine in multan.
