    What "route" exactly? The "Vampire Movie Route?" What's wrong with vampires anyway? Is Nosferatu NOT one of the greatest movies ever made because it has vampires in it? What about Vampyr, Near Dark, The Addiction?

    And it being a Jarmusch movie, do you really expect it to end up like a typical vampire movie? Was Dead Man a typical Western? Ghost Dog a "samurai film?"

    If it's that easy to lose "all" respect for a great filmmaker, I would have to guess you didn't have much respect to begin with.
