(From rushlimbaugh.com):
As you know, Rush is a powerful influential member of the media. But did you know that while Rush scorns the usual D.C., inside-the-beltway crowd, he loves to attend sporting events? It's true. So we decided to bring you Rush's 1995 recap of the NBA All-Star Game. Rush attended the event as a guest of Phoenix Suns Coach Paul Westphal, and also had a chance to enjoy the high school players' rookie game.
One of the rookie events was a $1 million three-point shot. The kid who took the shot missed, and chimpanzee expert Jane Goodall - of all people - said later of watching the throw that she was glad the kid missed the shot because that was too much money for a boy of 16 to have. Class envy came up even at a sporting event! NBC also caught Rush delivering a pep talk! It's a side of Rush rarely seen, folks - and we bring it to you here.

He finds a "liberal conspiracy" in everything. The crowd simply wanted entertainment, and one shot was insufficient entertainment.
