@tomaszn22 C Brderick is an amazing player..AMAZING but its all straight forward technical,, doesnt seem to have much original feel or depth or meat..but still amazing..where as Poland has it all as far as feel and the chops but isnt technically as good as Chris,Now marty i find is the best outta them bc he has it all plus the best technique and a HELL of a solo writer...those are my thoughts :)

I know him personally and have for over 20 years now. There is no rift between him and Megadeth, he is one of the nicest and humblest people on Earth. I used to tape OHM at The Baked Potato and see them rehearse often

@MarshallVamp I agree 100% I LOVE Martys playing, its so fucking unique to the music out there and it never gets tiring and he has so many solos written yet he outdoes himself again and again. Genius!

@screat I would put Poland and Marty streets ahead of Chris to be honest. I'm always left with a feeling of "ok that was well played but do I actually care?" with Chris's solos and I get bored after a few playbacks (same with Yngwie etc), whereas I actually feel like "fuck this is so awesome" when I hear Marty and Poland solos, no matter how many times I listen to them.

@l2XMetalX2l With Chris Broderick, megadeth lost that "outside" factor, don´t misunderstand me, i love megadeth, but i share your thoughts that Friedman and Poland were the best of the best in megadeth, and gave the band a high status.
