  • @shadowsabere World is also going wrong with other martial arts, having wrong ideas about it.

  • I'm doing Tai Chi for a while. In my understanding Tai Chi is in the first place exercise for health. It takes a very long time if you want to use it as a self defense system.

I think the whole Tai Chi idea would be ruined if you actually train on water. In Tai Chi you train how to transfer your own weight using minimum muscle strength. You learn to feel your body movement. How can you even train natural on water when the feeling of gravity is very different on water? It's just like floating..

  • Tai Chi is not just Exercises. DAMN i hate when the world is going to wrong ! Taijiquan was invented as a martial art and those who think it's just a way to relax are just totally wrong, they just cannot imagine how wrong they are.

Many of the people nowdays think that Taijiquan is an relaxing form created before 10 or 5 years... But it's as old as humanity is.

Dear Julie Andrews, you don't Believe !

  • Sounds like it would be good for older or debilitated people. It looks very easy on the joints, because taichi can be hard on the knees, untill you get your form down

  • lol.. I really thought Dame Julie Andrews was gonna appear..o.o

but taichi is good... my grandma did it and had less joint aches..

  • actually you can fall in water, you jusy don't get hurt

  • that's great but what about "extreme underwater tai chi?" can you do a video on extreme underwater tai chi? as in the style where people jump off cliffs into the water and speed up the movements.

  • it increases mental fitness, physical fitness such as flexibility and it gives you body a workout

  • useless
