BMD-4 (Ob'yekt 960) - Modified chassis with new turret "Bakhcha-U" comprising: 100mm main gun 2A70, 30mm autocannon 2A72, 7.62mm machine gun, and new fire control system "Ramka". The bow-mounted AGS-17 has been removed. The armament is similar to the one of the BMP-3. BMD-4's are new-build or upgraded BMD-3's. The prototype was known as BMD-3M.

к чёрту такие ‘’компромиссы” когда борта пробиваются из КП пулемётов или ПГ 1950-х никакого толку от её авиатранспортабельности и продвинутого СУО - очередная лёгкая мишень причём не малой стоимости, им нужно понять, что борта необходимо укреплять, ну хотя бы наиболее дешевыми методами (в век нано-технологий) ну к примеру используя ДЗ как ‘’реликт” пусть даже от этого, они и станут на 0,5 тонны тяжелее:)

@erer270 1) Bradley's armor was part of test for russian KORD (12.7x108mm heavy machine gun, now in every part of army since 2000). Penetrable. BMD-4 has much more resistance against high caliber bullets and AP ammo but the price was less resistance against tank cannons. However high speed makes BMD hard target for cannon.

2) Bradley's chassis was not developed for airdrop. I COULD be used for airdrop due light weight but high probability of breakdown. M2 is damn good for land but not airdrop.

@mishgun420 GPS is a term understood by most people on earth as a standardized term for a radio-satellite controlled navigation system.

It also happens to be the title used by USA for their GLONASS/GPS/CNS/IRNSS whatever you want to call it.
