  • What cartoon series did the ugly chick at 0:05 appear in?

  • That's Daisy Mayhem. Unless I'm mistaken, she was a totally original character just for Laff-A-Lympics, like a lot of the other "villains" for the Really Rottens.

  • Who is the announcer character? I know I've seen him before but I can't recall his name.

  • @101Volts The two color commentators are Snagglepuss (the pink cat that had a feature as part of the Yogi Bear Show) and Mildew Wolf (who had a short in Cattanooga Cats.) The voice that announced the show and events was, I believe, Don Messick, who also voiced Scooby-Doo.

  • They should make a video game out of "Scooby's All-Star Laff-A Lympics".

  • Oh wow. Memories. I was 8-9 years old when this was on the air (1977-78). I loved saturday morning cartoons. In particular, I loved almost anything by Hanna Barbera. The thing is that all those cartoon characters each had their own shows, some of which I could see only briefly. Quick draw mcgraw, grape ape, magilla gorilla, yogi bear, muttley, scooby doo, etc, etc. Laff A Lympics brought all of those characters together in one cartoon show. I loved that.

  • @patrickinhatrick that was Muttley, not Mumbley

  • @corrupt200 he was originally a bad guy sidekick in "Catch that Pigeon!", very aerialist themed... then they revamped him as a trenchcoat wearing detective in the 70s

  • @jeffreylcoburn Daisy was actually from a Hatfield/McCoy based cartoon from the 60s... most of the rottens were from Catch That Pigeon- where Dick Dastardly and Muttley would use similiar tactics from Laff-a-Lympics against a carrier pigeon

  • There is nothing I did not like about this show back in the day. It had everything!

  • @jeffreylcoburn

Don Messick was also Ranger Smith's voice?

  • Hats off for posting this video..I was pratically in 8th grade when this cartoon was aired in india thru cartoon network...yeah really good shows back then quick draw mcgraw, topcat, yogi bear show was all classical works by HANNA BARBERA...

  • I remember when this used to come on USA Cartoon Network/USA Cartoon Express. This was when kids got up EXtra early on staurday morning from 5am(est) to 12 noon(est watching nothing but cartoons. No mattter how they are view today they meant something to the generation that watched them then. Now all you got now is A&B (animation and bullsh*t)........also when a new cartoon came out and you saw the intro for the first time you lost your damn mind.....i miss those days

  • @jeffreylcoburn And Boo Boo.

  • Didn't the Really Rottens always cheat?

  • It's amazing how I can just have a thought.. press a few keys and wham... I can watch Laugh Olympics and instantaniously am back in 1975 or whenever.. amazing.. Maybe I'll search for...hmmmm wonder twins?? later.. and thanks for posting!
