This episode disappointed me a great deal. Everyone is celebrating that Bin Laden was shot, but no one, not any of the intelligent journalists who are crusading against propaganda, stop to wonder why he wasn't arrested, tried, THEN executed as he PERHAPS should have been. Instead, he was shot by a group of SEALs who were apparently all killed in a helicopter crash!

Snowball knocked down the windmill! IT WAS SNOWBALL!

Why did the Seal team that accomplished this operation die in a helicopter crash soon after? Why did most on ground witnesses in NYC mysteriously die? What about April Gallops' account? Why did Rumsfield say we shot down one of the airplanes? Why did 9/11 Commissioner Tim Roemer slip up and says a missile hit the Pentagon on 9/11, before he corrected it to an airplane. Why did the commission omit the mention of bldg 7 in the report. Why did Silverstein say he decided to "pull" bld 7? WAKE UP!!!

What a crappy episode this was. Not 1 person in that newsroom had any relevant doubts about this operation? Why did bldg 7 fall, why was a clean terrorist's passport found, but no planes, not one? Why was Osama thrown in the ocean while Hussein's sons were displayed? Why was there no mention of 9/11 on Osama Wanted poster. Why did Benezir Bhutto say he was assassinated 10 yrs ago? That newsroom stood in awe. Sure actors, but not one said, "Hey, what about this.......?" Not even Neal. Everybody?

"Remember this night for the rest of your lives". Ehh 9/11 yes, but the day Bin Laden was killed? I don't know the date and I don't think most people do either. It didn't really make any impact on me because I wanted answers more than to know the 'mastermind' was dead. We still don't know specifics about the situation (stuff he should have known), or where the money trail lead exactly (Saudis but who and why exactly did the Saudis fund this attack?).

I just wish we could get those answers.

Look it up... The occupation of Iraq only took a few weeks.

Look, I'm not trying to justify the War in Iraq. I think it was a poorly handled conflict with questionable intentions. I'm merely pointing out that the invasion of Iraq was a significantly large operation that did successfully take down the Baath government. And that's what the whole "Mission Accomplished" thing was about.

They will never catch up to today. This way Sorkin can pick and choose what news events will make it into the show.
