They Lie

Pages 2069 through 2078 of the Senate Health Bill provides for federal subsidies of abortion. (The official text of the Senate Health Bill can be downloaded at http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=111_cong_bills&... ) This part of the bill creates a situation in which an individual can use federal subsidies to help pay for insurance that covers abortion (a direct violation of the Hyde Amendment), and the part of the bill that outlines how an individual can buy abortion coverage through an insurance exchange that the federal government creates, funds, and administers. Thus the federal government will be actively promoting and facilitating the purchase of abortion coverage. How much of a federal subsidy will each individual in such a health plan have to pay to cover abortion costs? On p. 2075, Section 1302(b)(2)(D)(ii)(III) provides that every enrollee in the plan has to pay at least $1 per month to pay for abortion coverage whether they want to or not. That is a very very naive statement. In this country we use electronic voting machines that are easily rigged. We cannot just vote out whoever we want. Promoting giving money to politicians is STUPID and possibly sinister in nature. Voting is not going to change this country until we have paper ballots and REAL non corporate candidates. Stop trying to get people to waste their hard earned money by giving it to politicians who you are saying will save you from the health care bill.

Non-profit (front group) Planned Parenthood is currently funded, annually $300 Million by the fed, and there are no such guidelines that permit only rare cases. Evidently, It's okay to sneak around the "law".

If this bill passes and you don't like this bill, you can also vote your Congressman or Congressman out of office if they vote for this bill, and you can contribute to the campaign of your choice who is running against your Congressman or Congresswoman if they vote for this bill and encourage everyone you know to do likewise. The Obama administration understands what campaign contributions mean. You can also vote the president and his administration out. This is far from over...

Article 1, Section 7 of the Constitution stipulates that for any bill to become a law, it must pass both the House of Representatives and the Senate. That is, not be "deemed" to have passed, but actually be voted on with the support of the required majority. The bill must contain the exact same language in both chambers and in the version signed by the president to be a legitimate law.
