The stretch from North Desor to Windigo kicked my ass. Saw 3 moose on the Minong, one bull and 2 cows. Pretty rad.

One of thee sickest parks ever! Seriously, the US trumps all in terms of parks. I'm not a USA type, but when it comes to our parks... USA, USA, USA!! Haha, thanks for the upload. Oh, and eye (pirate for yes) the Minong is piece of cake, but every bit as beautiful as many a mountain summit. I have stood upon them. Isle Royale! Danke, Grazi, and thanks for the upload!

You aren't kidding there Dustin. August 2007 was my hike on that ridge. The stretch from Little Todd Harbor to North Lake Desor was the hardest 5mi in the park.

god the word "Minong" brings cold chills down my back. that was the hardest 10mile hike ever. i spent 8 days on isle royale sept 2006, it was awesome and can't wait to go back, to the east side next time
