One of my favorite people. I sure miss her.

She is incredible. I'm in a effective speaking class at my college and she was the subject of a whole week's worth of material. Her cool and collected way of thinking and her brilliant mind dwarf anyone that is in political office today. We need to get a hold of her DNA and clone a new Barbara Jordan. She was a black lesbian that made a mark in politics shortly after her rights were granted to her by her own country... What a bad ass.

I saw Barbara Jordan as a young man and said to myself that I would do whatever was necessary to make her President. I soon learned we were not ready to even consider a black woman as a viable candidate What a loose for America.

She was the greatest example for all people, all races, men and women.
When you hear her speak , imagine her debating Sarah Palin today. This is why intellect is so important in our leaders.
