24 oz. capacity cans that make excellent lightweight pots for boiling water when on backpacking trips. biking, camping, hammock camping, watersports etc. These cans are a permanent addition to my stove store, zelphs-stoveworks .com

  • I got the Trail Designs Caldera-Keg GVP Stove System with the beverage can. I find the sides deflect, easily, when I pick it up and try to hold on to it. These ridges look like an improvement.

  • @backpackinonline Thanks for you input on that can that comes with the cone kit. I ordered a kit 10 working days ago and it still has not arrived....bummer:( I have foster cans waiting for the arrival of the cone kit to make the cut down 2 cup version of the Ridgeline series so that it fits nicely with room at the top for a silicone pot grabber band. I'll do a video of the cans once my kit arrives. The ridges are a total improvement on the body strength of the can. Thanks again for your comment.

  • Cool pots Zellph I really like the ridges in them, I wonder how they would do cut down with a ring installed in them?

  • @smokeeater908 Take a peek at my other video of the foster cut in half. It has enough strength that a ring is not necessary.

  • I love it. And if you've been following my bulletins you'll understand what I mean when I say: I wonder how long it will take a certain stove maker to exercise *his* "human nature" and try to "one up" you on this pot?

  • @BrokenAeroVT We'll have to wait and see. I think hell will freeze over first :-)
