This is my 75 gallon tank. The two orange fish are oscars, one is about 10 inches, the other is about 8. The orange one is the blood parrot, about 7+ inches, and the silver is the tinfoil barb, about 9-10 inches. The large pleco bottom left is about 12-14 inches... all guesses. There's another smaller pleco, about 5 inches and a bunch of apple snails, live plants and 2 feeder fish that they don't want to eat so they live in there now. The oscars are a breeding pair - we are very lucky, they've had eggs twice, but they never survived.
The bottom of the tank is sand instead of gravel, the fish love it. There are 2 filters, one is a 75g Emperor 400 bio-wheel filter that sucks and 2 is an Eheim 2028 external canister filter that I picked up cause I was having issues keeping the tank nitrate/nitrite levels down.
The top on the tank is home-made, it has 4xT5 5K florescent bulbs that put out almost 200w of light to help the plants and make the fish happy. It heats up so much, that I built in 2 fans that turn on when there are more than 2 lights on. There is also a colour changing "moon" light for night time so the fish can see, esp the plecos and other fish I add in the future that go out at night. I set the moon light at dark blue at night.
