Ahbuleeze (obviously spelled phonetically) was one of the coolest guys we met on our trip. We hired him to drive us around to all these sites in and around Turpan, Xinjiang, China; we'd get there, he'd go sit down and eat watermelon while Steve and I played around at whatever site we were at. This was recorded right before bedtime at a Uyghur family's home near the desert. We later found out that Ahbuleeze is a musical prodigy: he can just pick up the guitar (or piano) and play back whatever melody he hears. In other news, Steve ruins one of many shots I took of him during the trip...ass.
P.S. AHBULEEZE I CAN FLY...AHBULEEZE I CAN TOUCH THE SKY...
P.P.S Ahbuleeze is apparently coming to America soon because his son is marrying an American and once the son gets his green card, he can sponsor Ahbuleeze. Awesome!
Music is in the blood of Uyghurs, so no wonder:)
Seems like is name is Abliz, a traditional Uyghur name. Thanks a lot for the video.
