  • @elenchus that thing's for people with more than 1 watch, especially collectors.

  • I guess I'm old fashioned. I just wind them 10 times every morning. Takes like 45 seconds. Free.

  • Watch winders like this are definitely a necessity for any serious collector. Sure they might seem a bit overboard, but it's really nice to be able to grab a watch and go knowing that it's already set to the right time. It also makes for a pretty cool store display =P

  • I can confirm that popping out the crown too much to set the time will either wear it out or will let too much dirt in that area and make it work worse and worse. My SKX009 is not very old and the crown isn't working as it used to just one year ago.

  • Uh... Popping out the crown and winding it too much will eventually wear out the crown and require more maintenence. Keeping your automatic moving once in awhile helps keep your movement oiled and regulated.

  • Can we come check your electricity usage? You were peddling to generate the power needed to run the computer to post your worthless message, right?

  • Or someone that has watches for different occasions.

  • Well, I really like that rotating box that keeps automatic watches working. It´s truly interesting when you have several watches, because this system spares you the mess of having to set them once and again...

  • That's only the showcase on the store... I supose =P

  • For the person too lazy to take the 30 seconds needed to shake the watch and adjust the hands. Nice waste of electricity there bucko!!!
